Kings Head Hotel, Restaurant & Public House

My husband and I stayed at the Kings Head Hotel for our first wedding anniverasary, the hotel’s contempary style is fantastic! The restaurant was very inviting for both the evening meal and for breakfast. The staff where very polite, friendly and efficient. The rooms were very comfortable and extremly clean.  We stayed in the Damson, the bed and the decor was beautifull. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Beverley!

Craft Plumbers

Steve and his team re-piped my central heating system leaving the house neat and tidy each day they were working. They also replaced floor tiles that the old plumbing system had damaged so I have very little re-decoration to do. I would definitely recommend Craft Plumbers.

Cleaner Drives Driveway & Patio Cleaners

Spectacle Outlet

Now that I have reached the age where glasses are a definite requirement, I visited The Spectacle Outlet to have my eyes tested and to choose my new glasses.  The service I received was professional, friendly and thorough.

I hadn’t realised just how bad my eyesight had become and to suddenly be able to read and do things again, without struggling, is great. The Spectacle Outlet has a wide and varied choice of frames their advice on what does and doesn’t suit was very welcome.  Would highly recommend.

Lucinda’s Mobile Beauty & Hairdressing

We have known Lucinda for about 10 years and she is a regular weekly visitor, looking after both of us, very successfully. She has never let us down, indeed, on more than one occasion she has, at short notice, answered an emergency call for some remedial work before we could go out. Lucinda is always pleasant and accommodating and we can recommend her to anyone contemplating a mobile hairdresser.

Lucinda has been cutting and colouring my hair for about 8 years now (don’t tell anyone about the colouring - it is supposed to be ‘natural’).  Needless to say after that amount of time I think she is the best mobile hairdresser, or in fact the best hairdresser I have ever used - and I am very particular with my hair!  She listens to what you say you want and then does it exactly how you have said and sometimes even better!  In the past I have been to hairdressers and said how I wanted my hair cut but have still ended up with the style that the hairdresser thought best! Not Lucinda! Also, why bother going out to the hairdressers when she can come to you at a time convenient for you both. Excellent arrangement for me and I would highly recommend her to anyone - male or female!
